To the friends and family of Angie and Morgan, you have my most heart-felt condolences with her passing. While I didn't know her well, her strength and spirit shined through during her fight. May you find comfort in knowing she is at peace in God's arms.

To all who do not know, we lost Angie on March 18th. She showed tremendous courage during her entire illness. She was an extrodinary individual and will be missed forever. Our thanks to Dr's Mikkelson and Cuevas, and their staff, for their excellant care, WHS employees for their generosity, the 3rd floor nursing staff at St. Francis, and to all of the great friends of Angie's that we have had the pleasure to get to know.

I just found this blog tonight. Angie had linked to our foundation at www.eraseibc.com. The internet can be a friendly place, but not too timely.

I don't know if this will reach 'Mom & Dad", but my deepest sympathies are with you. This is a fragile time, I know too well.

My prayers are with you

I just ran across the blog as I spent another sleepless night worry about my sister who was diagnostics with IBC. She is my strength and my hope for a future. She is the last living relative in my family that I communicate with...I know it sounds selfish but she can't leave me now, I thought I would go before her, she is so much stronger then me. If the Lord has a plan for all of us, why does it include taking away everyone I love? Standing on your own 2 feet is pointless if you have no one to walk to. Therefore, I pray for her, not me, but her - to out live me, I can't take any more painful losses. I can't bear to see her struggle in agony and long suffering. Please Father of us all be kind and merciful to your servant and let her have a pain free recovery. What lesson is this supposed to teach me by taking her and making her suffer? I trust you know what your doing, whether I agree or not. Love transcends death and this is what we all my give to one another - or we have not learned the lesson we were but here to learn.
